The Bankstown Talent Advancement Program or TAP, will be sending a 19-person delegation to Colorado Springs in partnership with the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale from September 18th through September 26th.

The Bankstown Talent Advancement Program identifies, nurtures and promotes young vocalists from within local Bankstown schools. Launched in 2002 by Bankstown City Council, the program is supported by the New South Wales Department of Education & Communities. Throughout the year, students in the program take part in a series of workshops where experienced coaches and mentors help them develop and strengthen their stage abilities, performance and vocal techniques. The program also provides the opportunity for vocalists to perform at a range of festivals and events giving them the much needed confidence to advance in the world of performing arts.

The Bankstown TAP group is scheduled to perform 3 concerts around the area. The student-singers are staying with local host families organized by the Children's Chorale. The TAP delegation will travel from the Springs to Las Vegas for an exciting performance with the Las Vegas Youth Symphony.

Members of Colorado Springs Sister Cities International are invited to attend the TAP 'Together in Harmony' concert at the Colorado Springs Auditorium at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 25th.
