Colorado Springs Sister Cities International
Colorado Springs sister city relationships began in 1962 when Colorado Springs became partners with the city of Fujiyoshida, Japan. In 1983 Kaohsiung, Taiwan became our next sister city. Smolensk, Russia was added in 1993, followed by Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in 1994. A relationship with Nuevo Casas Grandes, Mexico started in 1996, and Bankstown, Australia became the most recent sister city in 1999.
